Hi Guzzle
Don’t worry about the sugar that is in the natural fruit it was created by God for your body and is by far different in chemical nature then the man made process sugar. Every night before bed I blend up a nice fruit fill glass with a little no sugar cereal in it and put down my PEG tube, it keeps me from getting hungry through the night.

nutra bullet
when i was diagnosed i purchased the nutra bullet and never looked back since. when i was in radiation i had to stop as it burnt my throat, but about a month or so after treatment i was able to begin juicing again. i work out so i add a scoop of whey isolate protein to my blend. it varies but the steady ingrediants i use are - Kale, bannana- only half, strawberries, carrots, celery, walnuts, flax seed, a teaspoon virgin olive oil. i mix it up with blueberries, rassberries, blackberries, melon , cantalope, apples and oranges. i go shopping every sunday religiosly and spend about 50 bucks for the week. i also invest in yogurt every week with live culture - differant fruit. the radiation diet is the best diet in the word - i lost around 40 pounds and almost had to have a peg put in but i got through without it. that being said as soon as i could tolerate food again my main objective was to put back some weight. so i added ice cream, ensure etc. for the extra calories. now i have to watch my weight again so i tyr to lay off the ice cream and protein shakes as i dont need them any longer. there are two schools of juicing - blending which is what i do and juicing which i think has more sugar and not as many advantages but do what you feel is right for you. once you get into it, it will be addicting and you will not be able to stop because it makes you feel that good - just like working out- its tough in the beginning but once you get use to it, you cant stop. good luck with your new journy - listen to the advise of your team and talk to everyone here and you will be fine. if you havent started treatment yet get out there and enjoy your favorite foods, favorite wine - dont be afraid to gain some weight as you will lose it fast enough. i am at 16 months after treatment and still dont have all my taste back, others get it back quickly - but you dont know so go enjoy all your favorites now

Lots of people shared your advice about food. Ran 5 miles this morning and off for a curry this evening. I believe the spice taste is the last to return (if ever!). Love spicy food but looks like it may have to go!

I'm not a juicer but wanted to say, if your taste buds go south, try melons and cantalope. This whole process is trial and error.
