Financial assistance for Caregivers

Hi, I am new to this site.  My mom has been battling breast cancer for the last 7 years.  It had spread to the bone.  In December, the scan showed it was in almost all the bones including the entire length of the spine.  A few weeks ago she had stroke like symptoms and called me.  Went to the ER and the scan showed it was in the dura mata (lining of the brain).  Not much information about what to expect next.  She just finished 15 radiation treatments to treat the symptoms and the doctor ordered hospice. 

I am her full time caregiver.  I still have a family and home to run.  Does anyone know of any financial assistance I can get to help with my personal bills since I can not work during this time?

    Hi! Welcome to CSN and sorry to hear about your situation, I'm not from texas but search the subject title and many resources are available in Texas as a starting point. Every application has criteria to meet but it's worth the effort to make caregiving easier to handle. If your mother or father were military at some point in their lives, might qualify for some assistance programs. I wish you well in your search and caregiving.
