Biopsy completed..

Hi guys,

Well...the biopsy went great...no pain and no patch! My eye is still blurry and a bit irritated, but Dr. said it will start to clear up as the day progresses. Now we do the "waiting" game for the pathology report..UGH! Tongue Out I will share back as soon as I hear anything. Hope everyone has a good week. Love to all...Sue

    Biopsy

Sue, I am so glad to hear this. No pain is always good. And you don't have to go around like a pirate!

But the wait for pathology. Ugh is right! Did they give any indication of how long we (and I mean ALL of us here at the site) have to wait?

The ease of your procedure gives me much hope and I'll bet it does for you too.  Take it easy now; kick back and let your eyes and mind relax.

    Hugs and light,

    Rocquie

    Thanks Rocquie...

I asked how long for the results and he said possibly by the end of the week. He said he will call me as soon as he gets it. Yes...I'm going to rest my eye...typing is kind of straining. Love...Sue

Don't type with your eye ;)

You shouldn't be typing with your eye anyway, Sue ;).  Actually, you'd probably make a pretty good pirate - on the river that is.  Take care of yourself and thanks for the updates.  Relax and chill !.

    That was a relief

I am so glad the biopsy was so easy on you.  It seemed rather ominous to face.  Like Roquie said we are all waiting and really hoping for the best.  Hope the week goes fast for you and you are able to hear by Friday. Becky

    Pirates

    Jim,

My son had a class trip to St Augustine years ago, and we rode around the harbor in a pirate ship. The "pirates" told jokes the whole time.

I remember the first joke: A pirate told the kids: "Say arrah !"  Then again "Say arrah !"  Then again. "Say arrah ! "

Then he said, "Ok ! Ya has learned ya 'three R's,' so ya is one the way to becomin a pirate !"

    Thanks guys..

    Max, Jim, and Becky,

Awww yes..the good old "waiting" game"...we've all been through it. Loved the song Max..Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I'll be thinking good positive thoughts with your up-coming doctors appt with your heart. Made me laugh out loud Jim when you said to quit using my eye to type.Laughing I can always count on you to make me laugh!  I so appreciate the care and concern Becky...I just hope the days ahead will be good for Bill and Stanford will get him back on track and in remission. You guys are the best! My eye is better today...ugly red, but it doesn't hurt and blurryness is minimal..."yeah"! I will let you know as soon as I find out anything. Have a good week!

    Love...sue

    Hi Sue.

I just popped on for a minute and was sad to read about your eye. I am glad the biopsy is over and I know the waiting is so hard. You always have the best attitude and I have no doubt you will get through whatever you need to. That being said it's so great to feel all the support that you have. Take care, stay happy and blessings and prayers to you. I'll be checking back for updates and keeping everything crossed!!  Love and hugs, Mary  Wink

    end of week...

    Sue,

Fortunately the words "by the end of the week" were not spoken by a contractor or auto repair guy; then you would get your results in May !

    Praying,

    Julz and Mary...

Thanks for the kind words and support. Hopefully the mass will turn out to be benign and all will be good. Still waiting for results. Glad to see you pop in Mary...always love it when one of the "old timers" checks in! Not that your old, just meaning one of the original members when I first joined the group in 2010. We've lost contact with so many that I still wonder about...Vinny, Tom, Liz, to mention a few. I just say prayers that they are all doing well and cancer free! I'll update as soon as I have my biopsy results. Much love...Sue

    You are welcome.

So, so good to hear from you and yes I think I joined in 2008 at the time of my diagnosis. I still remain in remission at least as of last November. I've graduated to the 1 year club so we shall see. I too wonder about many others. For some reason I am worried about Vinny, so not like him. I'll keep you in my prayers and watch for your good news.  Love, Mary

    Thanks sweetie...

    Hi Liz,

Thanks for the well wishes...your such a sweetie.KissMy eye is getting better..less blurry, but still bloody red where they removed the mass. I suppose thats natural when you cut something like that off of an eye. The pressure is gone and less head pain, so I'm happy about that. Still waiting, but maybe I'll luck out and the Dr. will call tomorrow with the biopsy results. We can hope! Take care my dear...much love, Sue

    Thanks...

    Hi Donna,

I do feel the support and love and appreciate it so very much! No news as of yet, so it will be a long weekend. I have an appointment with my PCP on Monday morning, so maybe the biopsy report will be waiting there for me. I will post any news when I get it. Now you go and celebrate your wonderful news and enjoy your weekend. Love...Sue
