Asking Again For Prayers For My Daughter, Johnnybegood - UPDATE

On Wednesday morning, Johnnybegood will be having surgery to correct her fistula. Her surgeon told her today that she will have a permanent colostomy. She is less than thrilled at this prospect, but must do it to survive. Although her lung function is compromised due to many tumors, the surgeon said it is acceptable for now according to today's chest x-ray. She has decided "no more chemo" and will try to enjoy what time she has left. My heart is breaking, but somehow I understand.
Please send prayers, good vibes, etc. that all goes well. I have lost count, but think this is her 7th surgery.
Luv,
Wolfen
I wanted to let everyone know that JBG came through the surgery okay. I don't know many details yet. I spoke to her husband & very briefly to her. Of course, she was still very groggy. I believe she will remain in the hospital for a week.
Thank you all so much for your prayers & thoughts.
Luv,
Wolfen

karen, i wish so much that
karen, i wish so much that there was more we could do than pray but that is all we can offer. i wish i could give you both a real tight hug. you and your family (and jbg's family) are always in my thoughts and prayers, espceially at times like this. saying prayers that surgery goes well and that jbg will learn to live with the new "normal" for her without too much depression or down time. if you ever want to talk, call me and in the meantime, i'm sending prayers, thoughts and good mojo to you, jbg, and the rest of your family.
God bless you all.
