Great day today somewhat
Well today has been a pretty good day. Jim was alert most of the morning and evening. His mind however is failing. He did not know my sister, Donna yesterday and he did not know my sister, who is staying with us for a few weeks, this morning. He kept seeing a dog on the front porch and a man in the house. He got emotional this morning about not being able to do for hisself and not being able to communicate on the phone with his oldest daughter. He did insist on using the walker to go to the bathroom a couple times and actually made it in and out all but slowly. He tried to eat a couple times but could only nibble a ver small bit. Yesterday his urine was the color of very strong tea but today it was lighter but less in volumn. I do not know if this is the rally before death they talk of or if this is another one of his spurts like he has had a couple of times. I was just thankful for it and enjoyed the day. I pray for a peaceful and restful night.
Blessings to you all.
Debbie

Hi Debbie
When my Mother in law was passing she started to talk about things that happened 40 / 50 years ago, she was remembering the past. All my wife could do was to sit there with her and keep her talking until a few days later she went to sleep. She was way up in the 80’s and was a very wonderful Mother in law to have; I was so blessed to be a part of her family. I continue to pray for you both and that God will give you the courage and strength that you need as you both pass through the trials in this life. Remember what is written for all of us who believe “Content removed by site administrator”.
God bless and keep you in your time of need

Can't Imagine...
I can't imagine what you are going through...
I feel bad of the situation, but happy that you have a few good days mixed in.
I can only continue to offer my prayers and thoughts of a peaceful passing, and support for you.
You were both on my mind and in my prayers yesterday at church..., and each and everyday.

Today is the opposite of
Today is the opposite of yesterday. Jim is out of it and sleeping heavily. I think he did to much yesterday in an effort to get better. I feel blessed that I was able to enjoy that time and pray for Jim's peace. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. They really help.

Debbie:
Just returned from Chatt. which was a wonderful weekend. My friend's husband feels good; cooked breakfast for us all weekend and we partied all three nites! Our partying was very tame; fish fry Fri. nite at their church, dinner with some friends Sat. nite and last nite a cookout at their younger son's house! But Steve seems to be thoroughly enjoying himself and feeling good at the moment. Hope Jim has more days like yesterday and hope he knows your sister next time. Hang in there. He's such a fighter and you're such a trooper! I have my friends praying for y'all as well. God Bless!
