in Head and Neck Cancer #1

No new recurrences, prayers answered. Tumor around carotid shrunk about 1 cm. Knewv chemo would not eliminate. Since there is no new recurence, the chemo is done and I can go back to Mayo to get SBRT on the tumor. Tenatively, a planning session at Mayo next Tuesday w/MRI and then back the following week for 5 days of radiation.

    I may not understand all of the terminolgy but love to hear any good news from good people. All the best from Liverpool.

    Very good news.  You got this.  Cook what remains with  SBRT. 

    Guzzle, hwt has had recurrance and SBRT is more pinpointed radiation that took care of a tumor on the other side last year.

    candi, that is awesome news!!  done with chemo and ready to get on with the SBRT.  you will be done and living life again before you know it.  darn right, you've got this!  right where you want it!!

    When we can't give cancer the good old one time knock out punch then we have to jab away at it. Glad to hear the punk has shrunk. Darn right you got this.
