Also wondering where everyone is . . . .
Was wondering the same thing. I'm here! Not much news, but my CA 125 is slowly creeping up, now 215. I see the docs next week to learn what's next. Back to chemo?
Wishing the best to you all.

I was also wondering
I'm still here too. I have had a lot going on. I developed a nodule in my breast so I had to have a needle biopsy done. The results were not good. It was cancer not new cancer but the same cancer as my PPC. The dr says it is very odd for it to go there but they have seen it before. I also had a ct scan. Went to the dr yesterday to see what was next. The ct scan was pretty good but a few of the lymph nodes had increased slightly. The dr is taking me off the study of doxil and amg 386 that I have been on since October 2013. Going to give me a 5 week break to get rid of these drugs in my body. He had been to a conference in FL and was excited that there had been good results with taxol and avastin for recurring ovarian cancer. He wants to put me on taxol and avastin in 4 weeks. I had these two drugs 2 years ago along with carboplatins. My CA125's are 1102 only came Down 17 points in a month. So it looks like I will be hairless again which is my least worry right now.
has anyone out there experienced the PPC cancer going to the breast.
sorry your CA'S are creeping up Carole. Keep me posted on what the dr says.
anyone heard from Julie? She hasn't been on since january. I'm worried about her.
take care all!

Glad I wasn't the only one
Glad to hear you ladies are well. It's nice for you to take a break from this board for awhile, but please know we are here. My mom continues on a new chemo and is starting to battle some new side effects. Numbers climb, numbers go down, numbers climb. It's a vicious cycle. Overall, status quo and we very much subscribe to the theory that no news is good news. Stay strong and keep up the fight. You are all an inspiration and I remember you in my prayers every day. Spring is coming and there is a renewed hope as the seasons change.
Be Well,
Jessica

Hi All
Sorry for my absence - so good to see some posts up again though. Unfortunately I have had an awful start to the year - just home from I think my 7th hospital stay this year. Latest problem is pleural effusions on the left lung. Had 3 drains and another booked for this week..Would love to have another pleurodesis surgery but not strong enough to do it at the moment. My CA125 which has been steadily rising took a big jump this week from 798 to 1470 and that really knocked me sideways!! I have moved to downstairs bedroom as sadly can't manage the stairs just now and feeling very sad about that. Sorry this is a bit of a downer post but feeling pretty low just now. Waiting for that miracle!!
Love and healing thoughts to you all.
