I just had mine two weeks ago and also ran a fever while I was still at the hospital (never more than 100)
it was caused by not breathing deeply enough. They gave me some sort of contraption to inhale through that exercises the lungs and the fever went away quickly.
take it slow. you will start to feel good before you know it.
Thanks everyone. I ran a slight temp in hospital. Highest was 99.8. Funny thing is, I didn't feel bad or anything yesterday, I just wanted to keep a check on it. When it showed 99.6 I was surprised because you'd think you'd feel it: hot, sweaty, whatever. I'm definitely keeping an eye on it. I'm also doing some breathing exercises. Sounds like that could lower it. My lungs dont feel congested but I do feel a bit short of breath when I do my walk.

Diana, thank you for posting about it. I'd never have known. It did make things easier to bear.
