Prayer request
My husband has a small spot on the upper lobe of his right lung, very suspect on PET. In fact, little doubt that it is cancer. caught early but he has COPD since 2008 (does not require oxygen) and he has A-fib which could be an issue. Normally, they would do a biopsy and then cone shaped removal. We see a Cardiologist for him tomorrow after my chemo.
Plan for myself was to finish chemo next Thursday and if scan shows no recurrence, go back to Mayo for planning session then 5 days SBRT up there. Imagine we will let the doctors prioritze for us. Cancer is so damn unfair! I'm zeroing in on "small and caught early" for my husband. He has been a saint in looking after me the last 2 years. I can only hope that I am half the caregiver that he has been. We are blessed with a large loving family to help us too.
I also have a dear sister fighting a similar battle to my husband and ask for her to be included in prayers.
My brother just got his 3 year all clear and my cousin got his 10 year all clear, so I know prayers work!
Blessings to each of my CSN family.

Hi Candi
Prayers sent for all of you. Your family has had way too many cancer journeys already.
So sorry to hear this. Cancer is relentless. Prayers & good vibes coming your way.
My husband also had a-fib & a pacemaker/defib. He had 10 rads for his lung cancer located in the left lung. A type of shield(maybe lead) was placed over the heart area with each treatment. The rads had no effect on his heart. Hope this helps.
Luv,
Wolfen
