Update on Friend's Husband
Hi all:
Back up and running so we can post now. My friend's husband who just found out about mets to brain begin radiation tx today. The meds the pcp physician gave him have already started reversing the symptoms he was having so he is now feeling better. They see reg. onc. tomorrow. But they did spend the night in their new house last nite! However, my friend received the news that her former boss they have been good friends with have now called in hospice. He had esopohogeal cancer and had done pretty good doing clinical trials but he has mets to brain also and now out of options. He also worked with my brother (the one that passed right after Charlie) and they had lived in the same neighborhood for a while. Also, I don't know if I told y'all but my sister-in-law Gaye (wife of RIchard who passed right after Charlie and Brian's mom, the nephew who got hit by car) was in an accident two weeks ago Sunday and had abd. surgery; car totaled; but fortunately no broken bones or head injuries (thank the Good Lord; we certainly didn't need any head injuries). Anyway is home now and all considered doing pretty well except for of course the discomfort that comes with abdominal surgery. But please keep all these precious people in your prayers as I know y'all will. Will keep y'all posted on how friends' husband Steve is doing. They know y'all are praying for them. Thanks again and God Bless!
