lymphnode is nothing!

i saw my surgeon today for the lymphnode.  he did an ultrasound and said it is absolutely NOTHING to worry about.  i also asked who i should see for f/u and he said i only need to see him.  he also had me cancel the ct that was scheduled for May by the other doctor.  i really let my mind run away w/me over this and have decided to not let that happen again.  i've wasted too much time worrying about tests/stuff that turned out to be NOTHING!

    yea !!!! I was so happy to see this !!! I had the same thing happen to me and was hoping you would have the same results !!! We all let our mind run that way but each time I think it gets to be less and less . The old saying on here " It ain't Cancer till the Doctor says it's Cancer" has helped me get thru several times ! We ARE going to survive this !!!

    so true but .....

    I sure wish there was a way that everyone makes this a mantra and chants it over and over whenever a scan, test, scope, or whatever comes along rather than be a nervous nellie.

    So happy to hear the good news. It's easy to worry about upcomming scans and we wish we didn't but It's hard not to after what everyone has already gone through. It's just when someone has such good news to share I feel like we are winning the battle.  Bless you DJ
