PET scan results
Well the results from the PET scan just confirm that it is an active cancer, same area just a bit lower than the last time, i talked with my Oncologist and we agreed that i will wait for 3 months and take another scan as i am not mentally ready to go thru hell again. It has been a little over a year since my last chemo with Zevalin, and the after affects of that were horrible, this is the 3 rd time since 2006 that cancer has been diagnosed, my last remission was only around 6-7 months, am seriously thinking about a 2nd opinion from either Sloan Kettering in NYC or Cancer treatment Center in Philly, my mind and body are tired, and have to be ready for battle again and right now im just not there. Will post more as things occur as far as 2nd opinion etc.

Dang...
Hi Chris,
Dang..I'm so sorry you will have to gear up for another battle! I'm glad you have the option to wait a few months before starting a new treatment, and getting a second opinion is an excellent idea! I really haven't gotten back to 100% since chemo, but I'm also in my mid 60's, so it might just be age slowing me down. My prayers will be with you and by all means, please share back and keep us informed. Much love to you Chris...Sue

Hi Chris,
I have been thinking about you, just haven't written sooner. I too noticed your beau and it made me sad. I feel like your new circumstances have butted in on your happiness. Thank goodness you have him, but I'm thinking that you finally were getting on with your life and very happy and the monster appeared again. Know it is derailing. I just hope that in the 3 months ahead you can buy some of that time to just enjoy each other and "try" to forget what lies ahead. We know you will fight, but until the battle begins, make some more good memories. Don't worry about posting unless you want to, we are always here whenever you do.
We are all thinking of you and hoping for the best, Becky
