    Erbitux & Irinotecan...

Was the combo my husband Pat was on for 5 months.  Unfortunately, he did not have any postive results during that time.  His next option was Folfiri & Avastin with the 5 FU continuous pump infusion every other week.  He faired pretty well on this for 8 months, some shrinkage and less density in the lesions in both the liver and the lungs.  When that no longer worked, he was put on the oral med, Stivarga (regorafenib) which he has been taking since last Nov.  CT scan in 2 weeks to see if it is working.  If not, on to a clinical trial.

    Take care,

    Ellen

    Erbitux

I've been on Erbitux for about 6-7 years. It's done a very good job as far as keeping my lung mets growing slow. I haven't gotten to the "next option" part yet...

I was on erbitux and irinotecan for only a couple of months and a new tumor showed up in my liver, although I believe my other liver mets pretty much stayed stable. My next option was regorafenib.
