My husband is getting ready for the DaVinci Surgery this coming Tuesday.  I sure hope everything goes okay.  He is the person I lean on.

    Dear Miriam,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband.

I wonder what the extent of his diagnosis was and what lead your husband to surgery.

You and your husband may wish to attend a local support group if possible where you can meet survivors and their wives face to face. There are two national groups "Man To Man" and "US TOO" which may have support groups local to you...google them.

    He will do well

    Hi, Miriam

Welcome to the board. I am sory to know about your husband's positive diagnosis. Many prostate cancer survivours in this forum had choosen surgery to treat the disease and are now doing well. You have not shared much about him, his age or his condition so I think you are not visiting this site looking for opinions but for peace of mind.

I hope it all goes ok with the DaVinci and that he recovers fully to normal living.

    Best wishes
