Honey
2014-02-19 When I first came onto the site before I started radiotherapy I mentioned the healing powers of Manuka honey. Before I started treatment I had a spoonful of this honey every day and I didn,t get ulcers or too much soreness in my mouth. Today on the local news they are using honey in hospital on dressings for wounds that have the hospital bug. Woman who had infection from a caesarian birth had these dressings are recovering quickly. It is also put on leg ulcers to heal them quickly. thought I'd mention it as new ideas are worth noting although honey goes back to roman days they used it on wounds. In the war they used it also. Mixed with cinnamon it has many uses as cinnamon has healing powers too.

I still have
a little bit of Manuka honey in my cupboard from treatment. It may have contributed to my lack of mouth/throat pain during treatment.

Honey
God’s way of healing has always been the best way. He created the bee so He could say to Man here Honey I made this just for you. There are many natural remedy that are very effective in helping our bodies heal. One of my granddaughters is just about 18 months old and was always getting eye infections, and always on antibiotic. One lady said try using Beast Milk, being my other daughter in-law is Breastfeeding her little girl who is only 8 months old we tried it and Wow it works. Anytime it starts to come back now we put a little breast milk on it and it goes right away. No need for any more antibiotic, God is so good in what He has created and giving to us to help our bodies when they become sick.
God Bless

Manuka honeylornal said:what kind of honey?
Is that a special kind of honey? I want to try this since I am facing radiation again. I can finally eat by mouth, and am worried radiation will force me to use the tube again. I really don't want to.
Manuka honey is a honey from manuka flowers New Zealand specialises in. You can get it in different strengths. The one I used was 24 + . Honey of any sort has benefits. Put manuka honey production in your toolbar and read what comes up.
