    Find a real pro of a surgeon!  This will make a lot of difference.   The first surgeon would not even atempt to do surgery on my mets.  The second removed 20 out of 28 mets!   The confidence of a great surgeon will make a lot of difference.

    I though my surgeon was a real pro. He is the chaiman of surgery specailizing in liver resections at an NCI recognized hospital. He did the first 3 liver surgeries on me. That is what makes this so heartbreaking.

    I live in Virginia, There is a proton beam therapy center at Hampton university which is about 45 minutes from where I live. It is on my list of things to discuss with my oncologist today.

    he is a lung met expert using fancy laser stuff.

    google him, ask me in a month, i am booked to have both lung mets removed by him, but i had one taced yesterday for fun. to really see how well it works on lung mets..

    just in case you want to mix travel and medicine.

    all these recurrences are a pain, well everywhere, it seems all the stem cells decided to wake up at the same timed.

    oh and i have 11 tace and enjoyed killing the tumours with chemo and not my immune function. 

    i love the attitude of not taking no for an answer.
