small raised dry scaly patches
im not sure if this is a stupid question but i feel i can ask anythig on this site and feel safe. since treatment for anal cancer almost 1 year ago, i have always noticed one very small spot on both butt cheeks that are close to the inner butt line. these spots are scaly and slightly raised and are getting bigger slowly. is it possible that those are either the exit or entry sections where the radiation was administered? i have been doing some research and am hoping they are not skin cancer now cause they do fall in all the description of squamous cell skin cancer or even actinic keratoses skin disorders. ihave mentioned it to doctors often and they usually say they are not sure or kind of sluff it off as nothing. i have asked my sergion to remove them and get them analyzed. i am so scard and thinking the worst!! any information would be greatlyappreciated. god bless you all !!

Have you been to the dermotologist, they will biopsy and then remove if needed. I have the actinic keratoses on my back and the derm says its nothing. Its the fear of not knowing which is worse for me. Skin cancer caught early is the best, they just remove it. I wish you well. Lori
