Birthday scan
Well, it has been a long wait since my CT on Monday (note it is now Thursday evening in Sydney). My oncologist just phoned - nothing new but a small increase in tumours. She did not have the full report but I hope to get a copy tomorrow.
I had my hopes up for shrinkage and feel a little deflated but am pleased that there are no new tumours.
Just wish I could get my hands on nivolumab (no trials here that are recruiting at the moment) or undergo IL2 which is not available in Australia.

Hi Sue, I can imagine that the results brought some disappointment but as you say thank goodness there are no new tumours, that's some good news!. Just out of interest what do you take to boost your immune system?

Hi Djinnie
i don't take anything to boost the immune system, suggestions???
i have been reading posts recently and sorry to hear you have also had some not so good news recently. On the upside the weather here has been glorious and I don't envy the extreme weather being experienced in the northern hemisphere.

I can send you some details about boosting the immune system, I will email it. At least you have some sunshine then, that is always a good booster. It is horrendous here, they say the water levels won't go down for months, in the UK people's homes could be under water up until May. The water is coming up through the floors the water table is so high. It's a disaster on a major scale!

any suggestions would appreciated.
You have to wonder about the weather all around the world. We desperately need rain, not so much the cities but regional areas are in dire straits. Not sure whether you here much about Australia in France but we have been hit fairly hard with bushfires this summer and extremely high temperatures in the southern and western states.
