Great article. It shows how hard it is to just take things one day at a time. Even doctors want to know what their prognosis is. As the article said, it's not easy to know because stats aren't up-to-date and they are approving new meds that affect the stats. Thanks, we really needed this.

My favorite section says it all:
"Before my cancer was diagnosed, I knew that someday I would die, but I didn’t know when. After the diagnosis, I knew that someday I would die, but I didn’t know when. But now I knew it acutely. The problem wasn’t really a scientific one. The fact of death is unsettling. Yet there is no other way to live."
This is our continued challenge.
