Biopsy
Well, my scan on the 21st showed additional growth in my already enlarged lymph nodes and an additional "multiple new enlarged lymph nodes...So .. now it is time for a biopsy. It also talked about " increasing stranding and haziness slong the mesentery and retroperitoneum where increase in adenopathy is present"... Impression : significant worsening of adenopathy involving the upper abdomen, mesentery and retroperitoneum
Don't suppose anyone can tell me what stranding, haziness and all this means. Oh and my gallbladder is needing to come out! To say I'm anxious is an understatement...I'm down right scared!

I'm not sure what the haziness and worsening of adenopthy means (I would definatly ask my doctor) but I did have my gallbladder removed during my liver resection operation and I can't even tell it's gone. I honestly didn't notice a change at all after they took it. There was nothing wrong with it other than it was real close to a met on my liver and the surgeon thought it would be safer to take it. The only difference I noticed was my surgery scar. Good luck with your situation, one thing I can say from experience is that the idea of having surgery can be scarier than actually going through with it. Looking back I was more scared of having to go get the surgeries. Once I woke up from having them I was sore and had to recover for awhile but I was always relieved and glad I went through it.
