Rague....How are you?
I've been wondering how you are doing? I've been thinking about you and your husband often with this nasty winter we are having.
I don't know if you have been posting all and I am missing it? Either way, just wanted you to know I am thinking about you and your family.

bumping up post ...
Thank ya'll - I'm back - 'for the good and/or bad'!
I don't know exactly how to say it but I 'had' to take some time 'away'.
Very basically, after WS Atlas hit us brutally early Oct. and the incredably horrendous/frigid weather since (and a couple of things that happened I had no control over too) - I let my SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) take over and just 'stayed alive/existed' - not LIVED! So for the "good or bad" - I'm BAAACCKK!

I am so glad you are back!! I was worried about you! I feel bad that your SAD got so bad. I struggle with depression and Gabapentin sluggishnes that I totally understand just existing. I am glad you got through it and are feeling better.
I knew something had to be up with not seeing you on here for so long!
Welcome Back!!!

SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder that is - recently on TV there was something being talked about as 'SAD' but it had to do with 'men things' - I was going to remember what it meant but 'feeble old brain' forgot) is not fun and there are probably a lot more people who deal with it than realize. I was fortunate in that my PA 'caught' it quick for me, though I didn't believe her at first. We had lived farther north for years (Whidbey Island, WA) and I never had any problems there BUT I went to the shore often either to walk or when weather was too bad just sit in my truck and watch the tide ebb and flow. It started as soon as we moved here (Black Hills, SD) which is a bit further south but not too much. Jan (my PA) ordered my first light box for me at the start of the 2nd winter and insisted I had to take mega Vit D. It worked and for 18 yrs I kept it under control - til this year. Thought just 'hit' me - I have a new light box this year that is different than my last 2 - wonder if that could be a contributor? My first 2 were the same and 'age' is why the first was 'retired' as was the 2nd - still have the 2nd one and it has new tubes in it so will dig it out and try using it again next fall to see if there's a difference.
Sorry for rambling on so - but in the rambling I did come up with something to check out for next year.
