First CT Tomorrow

Hi,

I'm not sure if I belong here or on the Bladder Cancer boards but I'll tell you one thing. They don't respond on the bladder board. I have my CT tomorrow morning and I meet with a urologist surgeon in the afternoon. Unfortunately I'm bringing my disc without a radiologist report. I hope he knows how to read them.  I guess I will find out if my cancer is Kidney or renal pelvis and if there is anything else going on.  I hope not. This will be my first opinion. Next week I have an appointment at Sloan Kettering and hopefully get treatment ASAP . I'm feeling nervous and scared.

    Hope for the best!

I'm in the same boat with you. Hoping for the best possible outcome for you. I've got my second CT scan tomorrow, well, its the first since the tumor was incidentally found on the first one. So its really the first one to try to measure the extent of things.

    Youre always welcome here :-)

Even though theres not many here with experience in renal pelvis cancer we do have some overall knowledge to share, and if nothing else we can lend an ear if you need to vent or have some support.

Good luck tomorrow. Keep us updated.

I'm up at 4:00 AM. The scan

I'm up at 4:00 AM. The scan is at 8:30 5 minutes from my house.

I'll post later today when I hear some news. W'ere getting a snow storm today. I haven't told my office ill be in late. I'm not sure what to tell them. I'm not planning on saying anything until I find out what treatment I need. Does anyone have advice on how to handle your employer?

    Good luck

Youll be OK. You don't have to tell your employer anything other than you have a doctors appointment. If it is a male boss and you have to answer, just say it's "female" problems. Men don't want more information than that.
