Tarceva Cost / Financial Assistance
Hi, all. Need some help and/or advice. My mother was just diagnosed with NSCLC, Stage 4. She has coimpleted radiation and the doctor wants to put her on Tarceva. We have been told her portion of the copay is $2600 for a 30 day supply. This will be impossible for them to maintain. We asked Genotech for financial relief with the cost of the drug and they said they don't normally help people on Medicare. My parents have Medicare Part D with Cigna.
Does anybody have any advice for us? We are desperate to get her on this drug but fear the cost will be unsustainable.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
