I was surprised that I was able to get Life Insurance after 5 years of being cancer free.   Has anyone else had this experience?

    I don't need life insurance

I don't need life insurance but I would assume the actuarial tables probably already take in the risk of death by cancer into account when determining insurance rates by age group and that your mortality (and insurability) would be enhanced on an individual basis by being a cancer survivor.
