Pet-ct report, suspicious for Intrathecal lymphoma or possible inflammatory process.
Pet-ct on Jan 10 report was good until the last part. This is a new one for me. The report suggest a followup mri or spinal tap. The onc is setting up a mri, thank God, instead of a spinal tap which I've never had. It just sounds uncomfortable. Basically there was a bright spot on the scan in the L4 spinal canal. Has anyone heard of or had something that sounds like this? Thanks, Bob.

Hi Bob,
I have notHi Bob,
I have not experienced anything like this, but wanted to tell you I'll be thinking good positive thoughts and keeping you in my prayers. I'm hoping maybe it will be more along the lines of inflamation causing the the bright spot and not cancer. Gosh...I'm so sorry you have to go through the stress of finding out what's going on. We are here for you my friend, so keep in touch. Best wishes...Sue

MRI report didn't see anything where the pet-ct had a bright spot so I guess it's okay.
