LIVER RESECTION OR LIVER ABLATIONS
HI! EVERYBODY ITS ME AGAIN!!
I JUST FINISHED AN ULTRASOUND OF MY LIVER YESTERDAY. THE RADIOLOGIST SAID ITS BEST TO HAVE ANOTHER ALATION. I HAVE AN 2MM SPOT IN THE POSTERIOR RIGHT LOBE. HOWEVER THE ONE NEAR THE MAIN ARTERY THAT THEY THOUGHT WOULD COME BACK HASN'T. THIS MAKES ME FEEL THAT THE ABLATIONS ARE A POSSIBLE SOLUTION - THIS WILL BE MY FOURTH. HE ALSO SAID THAT HAVING A RESECTION LIMITS THE AMOUNT OF AREA THEY HAVE TO WORK WITH IF I NEED ANYTHING ELSE FOR METS. I THOUGHT THE LIVER REPLENISHED BACK. IS THERE ANYONE OUT HERE WHO HAS TAKEN THIS ROUTE BEFORE AN ACTUAL RECOMMNEDATION FOR A LIVER RESECTION? THANKS XOXO
