Oncologist in Lubbock Tx
My fathers recent diagnosis, just had 70℅ gastrectomy surgery to remove cancer - Stage IIA T3NO surgeon assigned oncologist at hospital after his surgery but he doesnt appear to be forthcoming with info, gave us a printout with a 36% - 5 year survival prognosis and wants us to schedule appt after hospital release to begin chemo. oh and we need to pay $15 to receive/fill out paperwork before appt. I judt found all of this to be distasreful and awkward, is this how it should be? It just did not feel right, spent all of 2 minutes with us and this is the doc we are supposed to put dads life in his hands? Help!m
