swollen vein under right arm

Hi, it's been a while since i have been on this site.
i finsided my treatments in March of 2013 and yesterday i noticed that i have a vein in my armpit that is swollen. it is on the same side that i had the cancer and had the nodes removed. is this normal? I am freaking out a bit but don't want to call the doctor and seem crazy. any advice ??
thanks
Christine

Never feel crazy for calling
Never feel crazy for calling the doctor about medical issues you have. They are there to work for us!
I would call and get an appt. set up to find out what is going on. It could be something serious or it could be minor. Either way, it needs medical attention (only my opinion in what I think I would do in your situation).
Good luck and let us know how things are going!

How are you doing ?? Have you had the opportunity to get in with your Doctor? Please do post an update for us, when possible.

I saw the Onco Dr on Tuesday. she wasn't sure what it was so she sent me for an ultrsound of my Axilla. Blood work and ultrsound came back good! no sign of reoccurance and no blood clot. She wants to see me on Tuesday to recheck and said she might send me for a biopy. She thinks it might be cause by my RA.
Thank you all for your advice and concern. i will keep you posted

Glad to hear they don't think it's cancer or a blood clot. Good to hear they are trying to find out what it is.
