Trach tomorrow

Ended up in the ER on Thursday. Breathing problems.  Knew it was going to be a bad day when I woke up able to talk

Still in hospital. Tomorrow is a diagnostic scope of throat and esophagus to see where the tumor is and biopsies to check the margins.  And also a trach. The tumor is behind the vocal cord and is messing up my breathing. Then,  I guess they'll have an idea of what the treatment will be.

Prayers sent your way. Sorry to hear about the breathing issues, I know that had to be very scary. Hopefully, once a plan is in place, things will settle down for you.

    Lorna,

I am sorry you are having breathing problems, I hope your ER visit helped.  I remember during the worst parts of  rads having to stretch my neck out to get as much air as possible, it is a scary feeling.

Good thoughts and prayers for you.

Breathing issue tend to be scarey, at least with the trach some fear can be lifted. Hopes and prayers all went well.

Know you are in good hands through this surgery.

Thinking you will be breathing much better with the trac and that they will be able to help you with furter treatments.

Praying for peace and as little pain as possible for you now.  Waiting to hear from you again.
