Exactly one year ago . . .

One year ago today, I finished my final round of ABVD and I'm so happy to say that so far everything is looking good! My friend gave me a bottle of champagne back at the beginning of the year and I didn't open it, but hubby and I are going to crack it tonight and celebrate. I am sooo grateful to have had a year free of disease and I'm hoping that the next year will bring more of the same.
I know it is difficult for people who haven't been on this journey to understand and I know that our loved ones who have to live through it with us also have a very difficult time.
So, my wish from the bottom of heart to all of you and your families is good health and a happy 2014!
Happy New Year!

Fantastic
This is Life,
Since your med was abvd, you must have had Hodgkin's. I too did that combo. I have been "clean" four years, and share your happiness.
At times a song will occure to me that seems to exactly match the sentiment of a post. I think the following exactly fits any person who has overcome cancer. Enjoy every line.

Thank you Max!!! That song is ABSOLUTELY perfect!!
Yes, I had Nodular Sclerosing Hodgkins, diagnosed IIIA but thankfully no bone marrow involvement. I'm so grateful that I have gotten through one clean year.
Congratulations on FOUR years! You go buddy!! Happy New 2014!
