So Happy To Be Back
Hi Everyone,
It's been a long, long, long time since I was on this board. Today is my first day back. I can't tell you how excited I am to be back. Saw familiar faces. Read exciting news.
I will be checking in often.
In case you are wondering, I am healthy. I see the hematology oncologist every 4 months (got promoted to 4 months from 3 months in November 2013,) In December, I saw my oncology surgeon and he's happy with me as I have good arm motion. He did the conttralateral mastetomy in July 2006 and in October 2009 looked for clear margins on the recurrence that appeared on my scar. In June, I see my radiation oncologist. As you can see, I am well covered.
I am swimming 1 mile three times a week...doing backstroke. Still cooking for the doctors...bring them homemade goodies from my kitchen...either desserts or healthy foods such as salads, vegetables.
That's right. I am still cooking and keep looking for recipes and new cooking utensils. Taught 3 couples how to make Spaghetti Sauce (known by Italians as Gravy) and Meatballs. Now they want me to teach how to make Leg of Lamb...targeted for summer 2014.
Lots of Hugs,
Janelle

Hi, welcome back. I've only been here a few months, but have been helped so much. I always wondered what Italians meant my Sunday Gravy. Now I have a clue.
