Peace, Strength and Love to All
Wishing everyone a moment of peace, strength and love. I know how difficult it can be to find joy and happiness when we are struggling to win our battle against cancer. Last Christmas my husband was waiting for his surgery. He couldn't swallow due to the radiation. We were so frightened. But he is still with me and, for now, cancer free. It has been the most difficult year of our lives but we are still here, together.
We have lost some wonderful people to this disease this year. My heart and prayers go out to their loved ones and families.
We don't know what tomorrow holds for any of us. But we have today to love and be loved.

First christmas going through wbrt for braîn mets don't liike it!! Any suggestions. Feel lik stoppingI cannot know how it must feel to go through WBR. I watched my husband go through it and he is truly my hero. One day he asked if I wanted to watch the setup. I was shocked by what I saw. I don't know how he did it. They would have to put me out for sure. My husband did make it and has no more mets to the brain. He has been cancer free since May 2013. I am not sure were you are in your journey but do what is right for you. Speaking form my side as a caregiver and wife I am thankful for each day I have with him. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a cancer free New Year. Jana

Thank you Jana. I was first dx in 04-13 with esophageal tumor and mets to lung and liver. After much prayer and radiation to tumor and (according to doc) not enough chemo to cause complete remission. But our God is good and allowed me 4 months of living normal. I could eat anything

Sorry to hear of your husbands diagnosis. What stage is he and do you have treatment plan?
WBRT is whole brain radiation treatment. My husbands cancer spread to his brain. They were able to stop the cancer with this treatment.
i wish you the best in your journey. It can be very difficult but you can make it.
