Chemo gemcitabine plus cisplatin

MY  dad is 54 and is detected with TCC cancer having lump nodes in kidney and lesion in liver and neck and nodules in lungs  .

Doctor suggested chemo gemcitabine plus cisplatin 1.6 gm. for 2 days and the for day 3,4,5 inj Ancount 300 Mcg. Is this the right way for such a cancer or .. its better to have the kideny removed once and for all which seems to be the primay source. Although the tumer is only 1.2 cm only in the Bladder and liver 4.2 cm and neck 2 cm ..

He suggested 3 rounds of this treatment and will see the progress This was suggested by 2 oncologist ..

WE are done with one round of chemo

It will be a great help if you throw some light on this . Any metasis TCC surviver here .. Will be encouraging ..
