Possible Leukemia?? Please help!
Hi,
I am 21 yrs old guy recently having lot of problems with my health. I feel very fatigued all the time and my vision is getting blurry day after day. I have knee pain which makes me struggle even to walk sometimes. I also have few bruises poping up in my leg. I had sinus inflammation few months ago which isn't going away and get sore throats at random times of my day. I had blood tests 2 months ago which didn't show any sign of diseases but my problems has been getting worse after that. I went to my GP last week who told me there was nothing wrong with the blood test therefore just take some days off and you'll feel better and I am just being too paranoid about it. However i am not getting better at all. Could this be sign of something serious such as Leukemia or something else? My doctor is on holiday for 2 weeks now and i am not sure if should visit another one. Can someone please help me with this.

You have been seen by your Doctors and they claim nothing is wrong with you. I really don't know what is wrong with you either, but I will tell you what happened to my daughter and then you can go from there. She had the similar symptoms like you are having (I am not saying that you have Leukemia) She went to emergency room many times and was told that nothing was wrong. Anyway, the last time she went to emergency they told her the same thing and my friend told her not to leave the emergency stay in and let them give you a full test. She stayed in and sure enough they ran several tests and the conclusion was Leukemia. So many times you have to stand up and tell them you need all the tests. You and only you know how your body is feeling. Hope this helps a bit. Ask them to run complete blood work. Let me know how it goes.

Hi, how is your daughter now and what made them reach the conclusion of leukemia. I just got referred to a hematologist for chronic elevated WBC count...

my sweet daughter
Hi I hate to do this but people ask all the time and I have to mention it. After one entire year of treatment she fell asleep in death. This does not happen to everyone some people manage to kick the beast. Best wishes to all of you. Your hemotologist will be able to determine what is going on with you. Complete Blood Work (CBC) and cat scans will determine what is going on. Please let me know how things are going.

I'm so very sorry about your Daughter.. I lost my wonderful Dad 16 months ago who had non hodgkins lymphoma after going through treatments and stem cell transplant. It's so very difficult. Life seems so unreal. It still goes on but only the ones living it will understand how it goes on. If one were to realize they're gone all the time one couldn't go on... However God doesn't always allow our minds to realize comprehend they're gone at all times, it still feels like they are living but not with us which is true to a degree... People say as time passes it gets better... So far I don't feel that.. As time passes the pain gets deeper and missing them gets so much more.. My Dad passed away on 13th month of His diagnosis... They said its the best cancer to have if you're gonna have cancer... Which he responded very well initially but one little lymph node just didn't go away....the strength they have is so amazing.. Its so hard that we can't be with them anymore but I hope we'll be with them forever in life after death... Thank you and I will keep you posted. I can't seem to end this with a wish... No words seem to be right.. May it be easier, hugs and love...
