    I'm so sorry to hear about your tosil condition. I had silimar issues with my tongue. I was diagnosed with base of tongue cancer in 1996 and treated with surgery and radiation. You and your family may have lots of questions about this type of cancer. I will be more than happy to share my experiences and some tools to help your family through this time.     I to was also told I had

    I to was also told I had tounge cancer.Was told it went from a virus to a cyst to a tumor.They also said it most likely started 10yrs ago .As they did a pet scan it was only at the tounge and showed no signs of anything else.I asked how and was told actually who knows for sure.Could of been smoking or even diet coke and pespi or from the plastic bottles heating up in the car.I always believed that everyone carries some kind of cancer gene and just when it takes off and where is something nobody knows.The plus to having tounge or tonsil cancer like most of us do is that they can see it as in other cancers by the time it found it aready is at stage 4
