very nice
WOW Livingbyfaith! This is sooooo pretty....I could hear my Mom say these to me....I should write this down on a paper and put it under my pillow so that when I cannot sleep and think of my Mom I can read it and feel her message. Thank you for putting this up here...I have another nice poem written up and kept under my pillow (I know, I keep everything of value under my pillow...except my Mom's ashes...that's in an urn I hug at nights, and then at the morning I place her in my backpack so she can secretly come to school with me).
So, here it is what I have right now (but I'll write down this too that you posted up):
"Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die."Please take care!~
