Herceptin

in Esophageal Cancer #1

There are posts on this site that recommends that we insist on having my father be tested for Herceptin.  (He is stage 4 with lymph node involvement)

My mom asked his doctor today and he said he already sent off for the test and we should know the results next week.

    hello,

    The test is for HER 2 and the treatment is Herceptin. If he is Her2 positive

    Herceptin can be a very effective treatment.
