Spots On Liver
Saw onc today, not so good news. Had bone and CT scan last wk. Had blood drawn today. Onc. said I have many spots on my liver. Having MRI on Thurs as base for liver. Will be seeing surgeon Fri in prep. for port. Starting Taxal chemo soon. 3 wks on 1 wk off. Sorry to drop this bad news on you, but need all prayers and positive thoughts to fight off this new beast.
Otherwise, feeling fine. Onc stopped Bicalutamide and no shots today. Wil keep you updated when port in and the date when I start chemo.
Robert

So very sorry...
Dear Robert,
Sorry about your news. I've been on Taxol since February and have had 3 ct scans. The first had regression and the next two were stable. I'm 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off, they had to lower my dose 3 times as it was effecting my rbc and iron. Fatigue is my worst side effect.
I had a treatment today. I do have a power port so they can't put in the dye for ct scan.
Best wishes,
Doris

What chemo are you going toBella Luna said:In our Thoughts and Prayers
Robert I am so sorry to hear the news, but know that we will keep you in prayer and in our thoughts as you move forward to fight on. Oh, I had a port installed for chemo and it worked like a charm. Never had a problem with it. Please keep us posted.
What chemo are you going to get? will pray it hates the cancer and knocks it out. CC has had good results and we are hoping for the same.
