HI.....I TOO AM NEW TO THIS, MY MOM HAD A STOMACH ACHE AND LATER WAS DIAGNOSED WITH STAGE 4 CANCER WITHIN 2 WEEKS!!!THEY ARE GIVING HER MONTHS TO A YEAR TO LIVE....ALTHOUGH THE ODDS R NOT IN HER FAVOR, WE AS A FAMILY ARE TRYING ANYTHING...SHE CANT EAT,AND WHEN SHE DOES SHE FEELS LIKE THROWING UP...ANY SUGEESTION OR FEED BACK IF ANY PLEASEEEEEE...

    Don't give up hope.

    Get a second opinion.  There are probably other doctors out there willing to try to help your mother before giving up.  Just because one doctor doesn't think there is hope does't necessarily make it true.
