I've just been told i have hurtle cells when a fine needle aspiration was done on a nodule.  From what I have been reading, it sounds like it needs to come out whether its an adenoma or cancer.  Should I both with a nuclear scan as Dr has recommended?  Thank you.

    Scan

    Hello,

Ask the doctor how the test will affect the treatment he recommends for you.  If he intends recommending the same exact treatment no matter what the scan shows, than don't get it.
