I was just wondering how Cerato and Sureshwani were doing? Keep reaching out, it really does help!
Hi Aildh,
Thanks so much for thinking of us.
I've have had some very good days since I first posted. Some days were not so great but I get that I'll just have to be patient. My loneliness has diminished quite a bit. You're right that reaching out helps, and I'm hanging in there to make sure that I stay connected to my friends and loved ones -- and now to this lovely, supportive group.
I had a big day, yesterday. Along with playing about with a friend in a fantastic pool that has currents you can flow/swim with, or walk against, (lots of fun), I had coffee with another friend, and then dinner out with my pool buddy. Today, I'm taking it very easy and enjoying being quiet.
I have been reading posts here for the last few days but haven't had much to say. But just after I started this message to you, I thought that it would be good to get some feedback from folks here about a conversation that I had yesterday with my oncologist about CT scans. So I've written that message and will post it after I send this one off.
I wonder how you are doing. Please let us know, and thanks again for checking in!
Take care.

Thanks forHi Cerato,
Thanks for asking. I'm doing ok but still very up and down. I've had some good days but am in a bit of a low and grey space at the moment. Partly because I always suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder and, despite buying a lightbox and trying to take exercise in the daylight, the winter greys have drawn in. Partly because I'm gradually doing more at work, which is good but a) makes me tired and b) my boss, I think, doesn't think I'm doing enough yet, and that feels very pressured. Deep breaths! This too will pass. Hope you're doing OK. {hug}
