Desperate for a bone marrow donor, Nalini Ambady finally caves in to leukemia

Stanford University professor Nalini Ambady, who had been battling leukemia for the past several years, passed away in the early hours of October 29. Though she found 13 donors who where ready to give their marrow, for some reason or the other all of them backed out. The report appeared in The American Bazaar.
