Thrombus clots

When I had my radical right nephrectomy in June, the surgeons removed a thrombus clot from the atrium of my heart all the way down my vena cava. Has anyone else had any experience with this and is this common?

Thanks,

Bettie

    Thrombus clot

    Hi Bettie,

My husband had a radical right nephrectormy in February.  He also had the thrombus clot.  I don't believe his made it to the atrium of his heart but it was well on its way.  I have read that it is more common on the right side.  Hope you are doing well.  My husband developed mets to the lungs and hip and is presently on Sutent.
