How long to take Cimetidine, L-Arginine

How long after surgery are we supposed to take Cimetidine and L-Arginine to prevent metastases?

    With cimetidine some people

    With cimetidine some people continue to take it indefinitely as a preventative.  (I would consider this for a stage 2 or 3).  For use during surgery, I have read two weeks after surgery.  I am unfamiliar with the other med.

    I took cimetidine for one week before,

    and one week after surgery.  This was based on some research out of Japan.  But as Chels said, some take it indefinitely.  You can read up on it here if you would like more info:

    I, btw, am stage 4, and only used cimetidine for my last surgery.  May just be a coincidence, but I haven't had any further spread, and that was almost two years ago.
