Survival with comorbidities

Breast cancer survivor here, age 78 at the mo.  Recently in Cure Magazine I read a section on older breast cancer patients having a 50% survival rate.  However, with comorbitities (which I have in spades) the rate drops to 3 to 5 %.  A bit of a shock.  But all the same I'm hanging in.

Anybody else in such a situation?  How do you handle the emotional swings?
