A wish for each of you
Hello everyone,
This is Mary Ann's husband Rudy. I follow your progress through the postings and am inspired by the strength and courage each of you show. I offer each of you this wish:"May the sun
bring you new energy by day. May the moon softly restore you by night. May the rain wash away your worries. May the breeze blow new strength into your being. May you walk gently through the world and know its beauty all the days of your life." I continue to participate in bereavement counseling. It's helpful. I am facing my own health issues. I am scheuled for surgery Oct. 16 to remove part of my right kidney; I have a 1.5 centimeter mass. The good is that it was caught early.

Thank you for the special Blessing. I too miss Mary Ann very much. Glad you are continuing with your bereavement counseling. Even though you did hospice counseling, it has to be much more difficult to lose your wife. Wishing you the best results as you have your kidney surgery. I hope you will only need surgery and no further treatment. In peace and caring.

Hi Rudy:
I wish you all the best with your kidney surgery in another week. I will say some prayers for you. Please let us ladies here know how you made out with your surgery. I am glad it was caught early so it eases your mind a lot.
I know you miss Mary Ann. She was an inspiration to a lot of women here on the Board. It still must be difficult for you and it will take you a long time. Just try and think of all your great times you spent together.
As I mentioned in an earlier posting to you, I did not know Mary Ann but she gave a lot of great advice to the women here on the board.
Again, good luck with your upcoming surgery.
Cheerful

Thanks so very much for keeping us posted on yourself. I've heard about your health issues, and know God will give you strength to endure the new journey. Not easy after dealing with your dear wife and all she battled until the end. Mary Ann was a truely special person and can tell you, I'm so happy to have had our paths cross in life. She gave me strength to endure this devil, and hope her spirit can keep you strong as well.
Peace be with you,
Jan

Best wishes for surgery
Hi Rudy, What a beatiful and gentle verse. It is good to hear that you are being supported with bereavement counselling. After losing someone we love and as time goes by, it is helpful to have someone outside of family and friends to unload and share feelings and emotions with. All the best for your surgery and it is good indeed that it was caught early. Thinking of you
