this is for a friend at the H&N clinic

my friend is having rad for a cancer thats touching her windpipe and cant have an op. Shes been having rad just a bit longer than me and when I saw her this morning she has itchy rashes in patches on her arms, face and legs. They look angry but the skin beneath is still white, does this go with radiation, I know a lot of things thats caused by radiation, I have hives and redness on my neck where the rad touches. If it is condition that is caused by the rad what can she put on it.

Is she getting chemo?
or just radiation? It sounds like an allergy or something.....oh, have you had any sun over there, and did she happen to go out in it?
Hope she showed it to her Dr.....they might have a lotion or something to help her out. Does it itch?

During my tx I had lines of raised dots on my shoulder. They did not really hurt or even itch allot. I was told it was shingles. It never spread or got worse. Otherwise, no itching or rash and I had boths rads and chemo.
