Ned remission cured

Hi RK
NED No Evidence of Disease and remission are really one in the same. You are in remission when there is NED after treatment. Cured is that date that is 5 years after initial diagnosis with continued NED. Some may refer to the last day of treatment as day one but generally the clock starts at the day of diagnosis.

Some people say there is no such thing as cured, but that you are a survivor. Yet some say cured happens right after a sucessful surgery. Hope I havent muddied the waters for you.
