Hurthle Cell Adenoma

My husband was recently diagnoised with Papillary carcinoma with Hurthle Cell adenoma.  His right thyroid has been removed and the pathology report came back with the before mentioned diagnoisis.  It was also discovered on ultra sound that there is a nodule, about 6mm in his left thyroid, that the endocrinologist  wants to "wait and see" in three months.  I am not comfortable with this decision after having researched Hurthle Cell.  Any advice or commets would be appreicated.
