Another has anyone had this happen???
My fiance has been fighting this dreaded cancer for almost two years now. Had Stage IV BOT with lymph node involvement. Went thru radiation and chemo which did not work, went on to have a partial glossectomy and all lymph nodes removed on both sides of his neck and he is currently still on a feeding tube. His surgery was in December of 2012. We had a scare that the cancer had gone into his trachea, but that proved (praise God) to be nothing! Now, the left side of his tongue is swollen 3 to 4 times as big as the right side. Has anyone experienced this? He has had some swelling in his tongue but nothing like this and we are 9 months beyond the glossectomy. Looking for any word of wisdom.
